The yield stress, ultimate tensile stress and elongation of the U-clip shall be more than 245N/mm2, 400/mm2 and 25% respectively. The U-clip shall be galvanized by electroplated coating with minimum 8 microns thickness in accordance with BS1760 or approve equivalent.
The diameter of the U-clip shall be 13mm ±0.3mm. The shape and dimensions of U-clips to be supplied can be the similar as HDB's existing stock or otherwise.
